★Another swift mover in TownName was panic. Whether there was anything to the traveler's claims or not, the kingdom could not afford a mass panic. Someone would have to confront the troublemaker before the villagers were transformed into a fear-crazed mob!

★Quest failed. Many people will die.
★Well, the important thing was that TownName itself was saved from disaster. Judging by that criterion, SimTitle1's spell was a complete success!SimTitle0 enjoyed a surge of attendance in the Peteran church. The display of Peteran faith literally turning away flaming death proved to be rather effective. For many Peterans, the actual Sky Shield spell was simply the icing on the cake -- a nice visualization of their faith. Both SimFirstName1 and SimFirstName0 enjoyed being heroes of the realm for as long as that kind of thing lasts, which is usually a couple of days (give or take a day).
★"Nothing must stop us from protecting our kingdom."

★That went well for those who were here, but I fear for those who weren't here most of all. They need to hear this message! And if they will not come to me, then I will go to them.
★It's disappointing that some people don't want to come to my sermon, but it will be helpful for those who do show up.Time to prepare for the sermon. I hope it will bring some light to these dark times.
★Look! Up in the sky! What is that?
★This is amazing... I feel hope again!! I am no longer afraid! What a remarkable potion. And all I have to do in return is blow out a candle? What a bargain! I feel like I could blow out a hundred candles!
★Of course I will help you, SimTitle0! I will gather my followers in the church courtyard. Meet us when you are ready.
★"I am honored to be included, SimTitle0. Allow me to gather the rest of your followers so you can make your own preparations."
★"I'm grateful for your comfort, SimTitle0. I will come to your sermon."
★"Thank you, SimTitle0, I will be there."
★"What's the point, SimTitle0? The world is ending. There is no hope."
★"Your courage is inspiring, SimTitle0. I look forward to your sermon."
★"I'll think about it."
★Thank you for bringing this news to me, SimFirstName0. I wish it were brighter, though I do not blame you for it.Please pass this information on to SimTitle1. She may want to make preparations for her followers.
★SimTitle2 could no longer ignore the signs. Everyone in the Kingdom was convinced that disaster loomed, and something would have to be done. The Monarch would have to contend not only with the incoming disaster but a potential panic amongst the people as well.To calm the people, the Monarch would call upon SimTitle1. The Peteran priests always had a talent for soothing tempers and assuaging fears.Foiling the actual disaster would require very powerful magic. That job would go to SimTitle0, the kingdom wizard. If these two heroes were not capable of seeing the kingdom through this trial, then there were none who could.
★"Not everyone I'd hoped showed up.Perhaps they feel there is no point any longer. But I will not give up on them. If they will not come to me, I will go to them."
★"I must get to the courtyard as soon as I am ready."
★"Thank you, SimTitle0. I will bring this to SimTitle1 immediately and return with your candle."
★"I am at a loss. SimTitle1 seems lost to despair! Perhaps I need some outside help in this case..."
★Why do I never seem to scry good news? All I see are very dark energies approaching, shrouded in evil. They are almost upon us, but it is difficult to see details through the dark. To be honest, I do not know if we can escape our fate.I should inform SimTitle0 that the situation is most dire.
★This time SimTitle1 saw a much clearer vision. It was a nightmare of hell raining down from the sky; destroying all."I could stop this," she said to herself, "with a Sky Shield spell. If I can cast one powerful enough."For the spell to have any chance to succeed, the Wizard would have to surround herself with people unafraid of death. Their energy would bolster the spell's effects."I will need SimTitle0's help once again," thought SimFirstName1.
★"Thank you, SimTitle0. I realize now that I don't have to be afraid. I will face my fate with dignity."
★"I don't see the point... We're all going to die. Soon everything will be gone, and there is nothing I can do to avoid a fate I don't deserve.Just leave me alone."
★Did it work? Are we doomed?
★Nothing happened! Is something supposed to happen?
★What does it mean?!
★Everything is ready. The faithful and the magical will stand together and repel the incoming disaster. ...In theory. Now, to cast the Sky Shield!
★Things do look bad, but that doesn't mean I'm ready to give up just yet.I will spend every second I have left looking for a way to save our kingdom.Perhaps there is something in my archives, some small bit of information which can be of use.
★Hmmm... I might be able to enhance my vision if I scry over a candle blown out by someone who has overcome an intense fear. It's not much, but it's all I've been able to find. I need someone who has been overcome by fear so strong that they have given up all hope.
★"It is hard to believe this is happening, but it is undeniable that with such a frequency of omens, our doom draws near.I doubt my ability to affect something this overwhelming, yet I must try.Let me see what I can discover through Scrying."
★"Thank you, SimTitle0! She did blow out the candle AFTER drinking the potion, right?"
★As the situation was explained, the Wizard's eyes grew wide."This SimTitle0 might just be the key to our survival. I can create a potion for you that will break her fear, but I must ask a strange favor in return. I want you to take a candle. After SimTitle0 drinks the potion, have her blow out the candle and return it to me."
★I appreciate this knowledge, SimTitle0, but I feel no fear. I will double my efforts to help our citizens through this trial. And if there is anything I can do to help you, just say the word.
★"The people need comfort in these trying times."
★"The situation is dire. My magic cannot fail."

★Signs of the apocalypse had been increasing in recent days. At first it was dismissed as panic and superstition, but it was becoming clear that the kingdom was in real peril. TownName would need heroes to come forward and face this considerable threat.
★Nothing in the kingdom moved swifter than bad news. When a haggard-looking traveler staggered into town screaming of impending disaster, it did not take long for word to spread. TownName had its own harbinger of doom! But was there really a threat behind those apocalyptic words?

★Apparently dragons love ornate and finely-crafted items. I'll need to acquire some gems and forge them into some fine object.
★These gifts should be an acceptable offering to the dragon.
★Ow! You maniac! What are you doing?
★Of course, dragons have quite fierce appetites. The dragon must have attacked those peasants just because it was hungry. SimFirstName2 should bring an offering of dinner if she doesn't want to become dinner.
★"Kind of a strange title, but the book seems to contain a lot of draconic knowledge..."
★Read Book on Dragons
★Hello there. It's nice to meet someone capable of intelligent speech. I'm willing to stay in TownName and perhaps even refrain from eating the townsfolk, but I have a few demands: A few valuable trinkets, some well-cooked food, and someone intelligent to talk to.
★Wow, I guess the dragon really didn't like fowl. I'm going to need some way to get past the dragon's breath if I'm going to read it my poem.
★SimTitle0 crept up to the dragon's cave, expecting a blast of scorching flame at each step. Just inside the mouth of the cave, she left the loaves of grassweed bread and swiftly retreated.A voice followed after him as she retreated, "That's more like it. You can tell your friend that I'll be in the throne room when she's ready to talk."
★"Here you go, SimFirstName0. This should provide something to distract the dragon from eating you."
★Hmm... I remember now that the book said something about certain dragons not eating meat. Oh well, SimFirstName0 should be alright.
★You say this should keep the dragon from eating me? Thanks, SimFirstName0. I'll give it a try.
★You know, since you seem like such a nice person, and your friend really had a rough time, I'll give you a special deal on this potion.
★The dragon brought up some good points about the role of The Watcher in our lives. I should study Peteran philosophy on the subject. If the dragon resurfaces, perhaps I can convince it that it should become Peteran. Surely that would make it loyal to TownName.
★The dragon was serious about intelligent conversation. If I want to avoid being roasted, I'll need The Watcher to guide me in my speech next time.  If the dragon resurfaces, perhaps I can convince it that it should become Jacoban. Surely that would make it loyal to TownName.
★Yesss... this spell will do nicely.
★Oh, hey there, SimFirstName0. What, why are you looking at me like that?
★Clearly the spell wasn't strong enough. I'll need to try something else.
★There. Now all is in readiness. It's time to show this dragon the true meaning of power.
★Oh, hey there, SimTitle0. It is good to see you again. Can I do anything for you? Sweep your rooms?
★SimFirstName0, I'm waiting for you. Shall we continue our discussion from earlier?
★Hey, you didn't tell me your friend was going to be using it for open flames. It's only good for holding hot pots and flaming swords, that sort of thing. Now, I've got the potion you need -- it could protect somebody from a dragon's breath itself. But unfortunately I've got to deliver it to a wealthy merchant in Tredony who wants to walk on hot coals or somesuch.
★I guess that potion wasn't such a great deal. I'll have to go back to my source.
★That should do it. Now, time for the spell.
★What is it? Why are you staring at me like that?
★Jackpot! A fire resistance potion AND a spell of friendship! The dragon will never know what hit him... or her, I suppose. I'll need to test these out first, of course.
★Really, I don't need it.
★I've got to give these books away, but these fish aren't biting. What if I offer to sweeten the deal for these Peterans?
★No thanks, I'm all set.
★Oh, well, I guess if you're offering...
★Fine, I'll go to the sermon! Just leave me alone.
★If I promise to go to church, will you stop bothering me?
★What's the catch? No catch? Alright.
★Sounds like a good deal to me!
★Gah! You win! I'm going, I'm going.
★Well, my dear girl, that was a fire resistance potion. If you need protection against direct flame, you need a fire protection potion!
★SimFirstName0 should be pleased that I managed to complete her business.
★Hmmm... I think my recipe needs a little fine-tuning.
★There, now it's time to see if SimFirstName0 can resist my Magic Arrow.
★I swear on my life, SimFirstName0. This potion is the genuine article.
★Money and Art, of course! Those would make fantastic themes for my dragon poem. I've got to get back to my writing! But should I add a third theme? Love, perhaps?
★Now it's time for my big performance!
★Ah... home sweet home. Now, it's time for bed.
★I've never been so humiliated in my life. That dragon will pay. But SimTitle0 wants it as an ally. I'll need to enchant it somehow. I'll need someone to provide the bait...
★Here you go, milady. May it serve you well.
★Ah, yes. I do have a potion of fire resistance... and it happens to be on a special discount! I'll give it to you for two trout.
★You've given me a lot to think about, SimTitle0. I feel a tremendous connection to TownName and its people. I shall seriously consider not eating any of you.

★Wait, could it be that fire resistance simply provides inadequate fire protection against direct flame attacks? What SimTitle1 really needs is fire protection!... Oh, and I guess I should probably fix her face, too.
★"I simply cannot figure out why my spell failed. Why, WHY? I must meditate on it."
★Meditate for String0
★Well, looks like this should do the trick for SimFirstName2.
★"This recipe seems awfully easy for something that's immune to fire..."
★Forge Flame Resistant Shield
★Phew! The color looks a little off, but this potion is ready for testing.
★"I'm certain this will work! Relatively certain, that is... I mean, how hot can dragon's fire really be?"
★"Okay, this time
★"Alright, it's leeches this time, LEECHES... not frogs."
★Craft a Fireproofing Potion
★Craft the REAL Fireproofing Potion
★There, that looks like a fireproofing potion. Sort of.
★There! That looks much more like a real fireproofing potion.
★This sword should be good enough for SimFirstName2.
★This should be enough eggs for Tredony.
★What a charming book! I'm sure I'll find out all sorts of facts about these amazing creatures. Wait, their teeth are HOW long? Phew, good thing I don't have to go in that cave...
★"I'm pretty sure the village shoppe carries a book on dragons... Did I see it in the kid's section?"
★Acquire a Book on Dragons
★This looks like just the book to help SimTitle2!
★"I always wondered why someone would write a book on fireproofing things..."
★Obtain Book on Fireproofing
★"Now that's a mighty fine sword indeed. SimFirstName2 had better appreciate it."
★"It will take a mighty weapon to slay this beast, and only I can do it."
★Forge the Wyrmslayer Sword
★Acquire 1000 Eggs
★"There! Now that's a quality shield!"
★"Yes, this recipe looks much more appropriate."
★Craft Flameproof Shield
★A fascinating concoction. Don't want to drink this stuff! Now, where's the blade to try this on?
★The dragon continues to threaten the populace of TownName. Woe!
★With incredible bravery and combat prowess, as well as superior armaments provided by SimTitle1, SimTitle0 defeated the mighty and terrible beast. TownName rejoiced, for the townsfolk were safe once again!
★Primary Hero:"  Knight (Lv5+)"  Monarch (Lv5+)"  Spy-------------------------------------Secondary Hero:"  Merchant"  Spy"  Physician"  Wizard"  Blacksmith
★Now that my thunder spell is ready, I should try it out on something relatively draconic. The drakes that hunt in the forest should be a good challenge.
★"I have to figure out what runes will create the thunder spell. I know there's Force, then Air, and... something. But what? Something to provide the power?"
★Memorize Lightning Bolt
★"Sometimes, when I think about it, I realize how incredible magic really is."
★"My last spell only resisted fire, but this one will completely fireproof SimTitle2."
★Memorize the String0 Spell
★That spell's ready to go.
★"I probably can't put the dragon out with my sleep spell, but if I catch it napping, maybe it will keep it down."
★Memorize Sleep Spell
★Yes! This Gale spell could be just the thing to disrupt the dragon's defenses. I should try it out on someone first, though...
★"I wonder what other uses I could find for this spell. Poking fire logs with my hands?"
★Memorize Resist Fire
★"A tornado might keep the dragon off balance long enough to hit it with my lightning spell. I'm sure that Air and Force runes are involved, but what could bind them together?"
★Memorize Gale Spell
★"I knew I shouldn't have skimmed the first time through. Hopefully I'll find something I missed..."
★"I've always wanted to be fireproof. Then I could pick up cauldrons from the fireplace without tongs!"
★Read Fireproof Folio
★Re-read Fireproof Folio, Carefully!
★Ah, yes! SimTitle2 needs protection against direct application of flame. I need the potion of fireproofing, not merely fire resistance!
★"I've always loved reading about dragons."
★Read Book on Dragons
★Hmmm, I do recall reading that the forest tribes of Andorwal are said to use a special concoction for hunting fire eels in the hot springs. It should provide some degree of flame resistance.Oh, and by the way, I forgot to tell you that some dragons don't eat meat. They just eat coins and collect art.
★Hmm... there was that hedge wizard in town. I wonder if he could provide some form of fire resistance.Oh, and by the way, I forgot to tell you that some dragons don't eat meat. They just eat coins and collect art.
★Ah yes, the forest tribes of Andorwal are said to use a special concoction to protect themselves when hunting fire eels in the magma caves. It should provide some degree of flame resistance.
★What is it supposed to feel like? I should test it out on something besides a dragon.
★This potion is heavier than a rock! Is that normal?
★OW! That didn't work!
★Joy.
★Thanks.
★Whoa, my skin just rippled, and now I feel all minty-cool. I think this is going to work!
★This new potion smells like lava running through a field of sugarcane. That's more promising, I think.
★Now THAT'S what I'm talking about! This sword is ready for action.
★Damn that SimFirstName0! She'll correct this, or else!
★Hmmm... I should probably give this shield a test before I trust my life to it.
★What a rush! This thunder spell, combined with the power of a Gale spell, will be able to strike the dragon at its weak point... if it doesn't eat me first.
★OW! That really hurt, SimFirstName0! I guess that fireproofing didn't work. Uh... I'll try to find something else...
★All right, I do feel kind of fireproof now. No, wait... I feel very fireproof!
★This sword, the Wyrmslayer -- it's incredible! It's heavy, like an anvil, and cold like a glacier from the frozen corner of the world.
★Phew, this potion smells like bacon grease. I hope that's normal.
★I can't believe they sold this magical flame resist shield for so little... and it's so shiny and fire-resist-y!
★This shield is precious! I almost don't want to let it go... but SimFirstName1 needs it.
★MERLIN'S BEARD! That was close. This calls for the "buddy system."
★That was close! So there really IS a dragon! I need to find out how to protect myself against dragon's breath if I'm going to have a chance against it.
★This sword seems to pull toward the vitals of its target... even a training dummy's!
★Maybe I followed the wrong recipe...? I'll have to check that book again.
★AAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!
★Tredonians use weapons infused with frost to turn back the great beasts. I think they'll trade one of their swords, but only in exchange for two metal gauntlets used by women to challenge people to duels. Those kinky Tredonians!
★Ah yes, the forest tribes of Andorwal are said to use special equipment to protect themselves when hunting fire eels in the hot springs. It should provide some degree of flame resistance. I'll need to mount an expedition.
★Those tribesmen must have swindled me! I'll force them to give me the proper potion this time!
★This sword is sharper than a drunken Warlock's wit, I say!
★SimFirstName1!
★SimFirstName1...
★Uh... Well, I guess the potion didn't work.
★Yes! I can feel the balance of the spell's energies. I'm ready to use the power of the wind against the dragon.
★Woah... Stop... doing... THAT!
★There, now all my spells are prepared for the confrontation. I just need to make sure I am protected from the dragon's flame long enough to cast them.
★Thanks, SimFirstName0. I'm sure I can trust this potion to work, seeing as how it worked out for you last time.
★If you say so.... but this better not be like the time with the rabid bats and the exploding daggers spell.
★A DRAGON? In TownName? My word! One hasn't been seen in this region for hundreds of years. Maybe thousands, even millions. Or trillions. Let me do some research and see what we could use to defeat it.
★Am I insane to try and slay a dragon? I could just sail away and forever be safe from the perils of living in TownName.
★Hey... why are all the birds flying the other way?
★Hmm... surviving the fire breath long enough to make your attack will be challenging. I'll have to do some research on it. I think I saw a book in the store on the subject.
★Hmmm... that's a good question, SimFirstName0. Why don't I try to do some research on dragons while you work on your poem?
★You need some item that the dragon will accept as a gift? Hmm... I'll have to do some research to figure this one out. Maybe there's a book on the subject?
★I suppose I could talk to this dragon for you. But who would tend to my flock? Perhaps you could do a little favor for me in exchange? My Jacoban faithful have been a touch... complacent of late. Perhaps you could berate a few into attending my sermons.
★I suppose I could talk to this dragon for you. But who would educate my flock? Perhaps you could help me. Buy a few volumes of The Watcher's Tower and distribute them to Peteran followers.
★I feel colder just knowing this spell. Time to try it out.
★Now, if the Fire Resist spell worked, I should be able to cast a strong Magic Arrow spell at you and you'll be fine.
★I see! My mind wasn't focused enough on cold, but now it is. I have a better fireproof spell to memorize now! And I should help mend SimFirstName1 with a Mend spell.
★Now I should make up for my previous folly by fireproofing SimTitle1 for real.
★I... feel better... like I've released a storm's worth of rage from within my soul. And for a moment, I felt it connect with the electricity of the universe...
★Hello, what's this? Yes, when I released my rage, I absorbed the power of the stormy seas! I think I know how to learn the magic I need now!
★A DRAGON? In TownName? I remember hearing that Tredony dealt with their dragon pretty handily. I'll see if I can find out how they did it.
★People had always spoken of the rumors of the dragon of TownName in hushed tones. No one wanted to evoke the mighty beast. But when the humble SimTitle1 reported that she and several others had been attacked in the caves below TownName, SimFirstName0 knew she had to act. Who else would be capable of taking on such a fearsome foe?
★People had always spoken of the rumors of the dragon of TownName in hushed tones. No one wanted to evoke the mighty beast. But when word came that several peasants had been attacked in the caves below TownName, SimTitle0 knew that SimTitle1 would be calling on her soon. So much so that she decided to pay a call on SimFirstName1 first.
★People had always spoken of the rumors of the dragon of TownName in hushed tones. No one wanted to evoke the mighty beast. But when word came that several peasants had been attacked in the caves below TownName, SimTitle0 was intrigued. After all, dragons were notorious for their hoards of treasure. Maybe SimTitle1 would know more about what was going on.
★People had always spoken of the rumors of the dragon of TownName in hushed tones. No one wanted to evoke the mighty beast. But when word came that several peasants had been attacked in the caves below TownName, SimTitle0 knew that she had to act. One only had so many opportunities to take part in a legendary tale that would be passed down through the ages.
★The bottle is frosting over. I'll try not to lick it.
★Ah, yes. The famous Resist Flame spell. That should provide SimFirstName0 with adequate fire protection. I'll go learn it.
★This spell will strike with the force of a thousand hurricanes! But first, I should test it on someone get a feel for its subtleties. I'll be more gentle with a human, of course.
★Ha ha! Take that, putrid dragon!
★I don't know, SimFirstName0. Why don't you try it? I'll cast an extremely dangerous spell on you to see if you're fireproof.
★And the sword shimmers so! It wants to be sharpened with the frost imbuement.
★Weak to lightning? I think I could work up a spell for that if I learned more directly from the tribe in Andorwal.
★Let's see here:Demons...Djinns...Doppelgangers....
★Aha! Here we go: Dragons!
★Ah yes, that was unfortunate. I think I know what the problem is, though! I'll craft a better potion for you.
★"Well, it looks I've got my fireproofing all set."
★The sword soaked up the drake blood like it was actually drinking... becoming more powerful. I think it's ready for the dragon.
★Oh, now I get it! It shows to use LEECHES, not frogs. That's what the smiling green thing is. Did a two-year-old illustrate this book?
★Oh, SimFirstName0. I was just thinking about you. As you may have heard, there's a dragon in TownName. As you can well imagine, having a dragon on TownName's side would bring us much prestige. I'd like you to parley with the dragon and make friends with it.Oh, and don't worry too much about the peasants who were attacked. I'm sure it's just a misunderstanding.
★Misunderstanding? I'd better see if I can find some of these peasants who were attacked.
★Stay back! STAY BACK! MAN-EATING DRAGON INSIDE!
★Ouch, her wounds don't look like a misunderstanding. Oh well, how dangerous could it be for one of my abilities?
★Oh thank ye, kind madam. That takes away the sting, it does.
★Oh, SimFirstName0. I was just thinking about you. As you may have heard, there's a dragon in TownName, and it has sent an emissary to present its demands. As you can well imagine, having a dragon on TownName's side would bring us much prestige. I'd like you to parley with the dragon and make friends with it.
★I get to treat with a dragon? I'm feeling so inspired! I'll honor the dragon with an epic poem. I wonder who might know more about what would flatter a dragon...
★I can probably provide all the material requests of the dragon, and perhaps I can find a book on dragons that would give me ideas on what to provide. But intelligent conversation? I'm sure SimTitle0 could help.
★"Oh, SimFirstName0. I was just thinking about you. As you may have heard, there's a dragon in TownName. In fact the dragon has sent a representative to pass along his demands. I need you to speak to her for me."
★So it's true! I feel obligated to protect TownName from this beast, but I'll need someone's help. How about SimFirstName0?
★Oh, SimTitle0, it was horrible. We were just poking around in the cave, you know, looking for some cave meat, when we stumbled onto this huge pile of treasure. Then suddenly Larry was bitten in half, and Rob was burnt to a crisp. I barely got away with my face intact! You have to do something!
★A mighty fine blade, SimTitle0. Ouch! And a frosty one, at that! I had better get some practice with it before I try it out against a dangerous beast.
★Hmm... where DID I go wrong with that spell? I must ponder this.
★You idiot wizard! You blew my face off! You better fix this! And find a fire protection spell that works!
★That's better. Just don't ever do that again, SimFirstName0.
★Yeah, I was thinking about that. I think what I actually made you was a flammable shield. What you need is a fireproof shield.
★Hmm... apparently the way to kill dragons is with frost-imbued weapons. I should be able to craft a concoction to treat a sword. SimFirstName0 probably wouldn't want me testing it on her personal blade, though.
★Apparently the Tredonians use weapons infused with frost to turn back the great beasts whenever they encroach on the townsfolk. I'll have to try my hand at crafting one.
★Hmm... this 'Flame Shield' seems like just the thing to protect SimFirstName0 from dragonfire.
★You know, come to think of it, I think there was some sort of mix-up. Something about the Andorwalish word for "inflammable." I know what to get next time.
★*sigh* Another swordsmistress fetish? Fine, I suppose. I do like the attention.
★A-Alright, I guess you can have this glove. I wasn't really using it anyway.
★This spell feels powerful. I can test it out in the forest without disturbing the townsfolk.
★Now that I've got a feel for the Wyrmslayer, I should show it some warm-up action on evil creatures.
★It reads: "...and coastal dragons are often susceptible to being struck out of the sky by lightning."
★It reads: "...and dragons in the greater-Tredony area are often susceptible to weapons of frost due to the warmer climates they've adapted to."
★WHY is this happening? Dragons and storm demons and bad potions and... I CAN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE!
★"Don't pick me."
★"The health of the kingdom demands the death of this beast."
★"Slaying beasts is somewhat of a hobby of mine."
★"I hear dragons tend to hoard treasure. A lot of treasure..."
★"My magic will defeat the beast!"
★"The people need a hero. Sounds like the job for me."
★"And they shall call me 'The Dragonslayer.'"
★"Mighty arms and armor will be needed."
★"I can equip the right hero for the job."
★"Flaming breath can be hazardous to one's health."
★"Dragon? Right..."
★"You'll need my magic against such a beast."
★Uh oh... It's feeling pretty warm... AHHHHHH! MY FACE! Damn you, SimFirstName1!
★"I trust SimFirstName1, but I should probably test this fireproofing out first."
★Test Fireproofing in Fireplace

★A dragonslaying sword for two rusty gauntlets? Another great deal by me!
★Those poor forest drakes didn't stand a chance. This sword is ready for the real challenge.
★"The drakes are dangerous, but this new sword should give me the advantage."
★Fight Forest Drakes
★"My robes are all static-y. I can't wait to try out this thunder spell!"
★That was like shooting fish in a barrel. I almost felt sorry for those drakes.
★"I've got everything I need. It's time to face the beast. I'll need to be at the top of my game to emerge victorious."
★Fight the Dragon
★Ah... that felt good. And you know, I think I'm getting an inspiration. Force and Air runes? I think I'm close to something!
★"I've got to release my rage!"
★Rage at the Sea
★Those warriors were so polite to deal with. I'm sure I got a great deal on that potion!
★"I hear Tredony is nice this time of year anyway... now that they have no dragons to overheat the atmosphere."
★I think we got everything straightened out that time. THIS potion should do the trick.
★"I'll hire a better translator this time..."
★Those warriors were so polite to deal with. I'm sure I got a great deal on that shield!
★"I hope the warrior tribes of Andorwal have the fireproofing agent I need. Luckily, I've always wanted to visit them; they do really strange things with their faces."
★"To think... a merchant getting swindled herself. Now it's time for me to do the swindling."
★Sail to Andorwal
★Sail back to Andorwal
★Travel to Tredony
★"I wonder how Tredony was able to defeat their dragon. I'd hate to have to resort to feeding peasants to ours if we couldn't defeat it."
★Travel to Tredony
★Yes, that was a silly mix-up. At least I have the right shield now.
★Yikes, that's cold! I'd better get this to SimFirstName1 quickly.
★"The voyage to Andorwal might be risky, but it would be worth it to learn thunder magic."
★Sail to Andorwal
★"I need proof that SimFirstName1's potion really works, so I'll cast this with some super-hot flame barbs on these arrows."
★Cast Magic Arrow on SimTitle1
★"I'll be gentle. Only the dragon will feel the full destruction of the spell."
★Cast Gale on Someone
★There, now you're completely fireproof. I swear!
★"I do feel bad about singing her face. At least I have a spell to make her feel better."
★"This won't hurt a bit... if Resist Fire worked. I'll even augment the magic arrows with super-hot flame barbs."
★Cast Mend on SimTitle1

★The cause and cure of the mysterious sickness have not been determined!
★SimTitle0 shook her head. The Eastern Apothecary didn't even know what she had. She thought she was scamming innocent villagers while carrying the potential for a real cure right under her nose.SimFirstName0's new medicine did its job well. Outbreaks of the sickness soon disappeared altogether, though the physician always kept some of her new salve on hand. Medical science had taken another bold step forward, but it was always a struggle.
★Primary Hero:"  Physician
★Hmm, this isn't an ordinary sickness...
★None of these symptoms match any disease that I know. I should investigate this further.
★I should ask SimTitle0 if our order of potions actually arrived. Hopefully the Apothecary was only lying about their effects.
★I'm not familiar with these symptoms...
★I've wasted enough of the day here, I should return to my clinic at once.
★Hmm, this seems promising...
★There. The money has changed hands and the shipment is under way. I should return to the clinic and await delivery of the potions.
★No! She's gone! Now what am I going to do with a clinic full of sick townsfolk and a shipment of useless potions?
★Good, looks like they've come to. Now to try these potions...
★This salve will work just fine.
★I can't seem to find anything that relates to these diseases! Time to try a few basic remedies.
★The symptoms are... gone? Can this be?
★And now I have an entirely new medicine. Will it work? Only one way to be sure: I'll have to inject them, just like I did with the potions before.
★No effect...
★Yes! The symptoms are disappearing, just as they did before. This time, though, my tonics will help keep the symptoms away. Now that I understand the Easterner's potions, I should be able to craft some that are just as powerful!
★This was an exciting time for SimTitle0. A visitor from the East was peddling some new medicinal remedies near the town square. Her claims about their power were quite fantastic, but the physician could not deny herself the opportunity at least to examine the woman's wares in person.Any chance to strike a new blow against death and disease was worth researching. "Maybe this time the remedies will be real," the physician said to herself.
★*sigh* Another scammer. Back to the clinic.
★Ok, ok, but just for you!
★Amazing! The patient already looks much better. And so quickly!
★And now if I put it all together...
★Sure, she claims that, but how can I trust her when this sickness happens to appear when she does? Then again, what choice do I have...
★Ah, quite miraculous aren't they? It will be 50 gold Simoles for the entire shipment.
★Here you go, you shall not be disappointed! Take caution, the potion must be delivered directly to the patient's bloodstream.
★Well, that certainly is a negative reaction.
★The physician's smile quickly faded when she stepped into the clinic. The villagers, the ones who had been miraculously cured, were back. Their symptoms looked just as bad as they had before and maybe even worse. How could this be?! What disease could drag its victims back and forth this way?SimTitle0 realized that she truly had been swindled. The potions worked just long enough for the Apothecary to get her money, and now the disease was winning again. If SimTitle0 could get back to town square quickly, she might catch the woman before she got away!
★Maybe? It seems to be taking effect...
★The potion isn't a cure, but it did suppress the symptoms at least for a short while...
★That woman swindled me! I need to get back her before she gets away with my money.
★Something in that potion actually fights the disease. If I can find it and strengthen it...
★This one bottle here will change your life! Stronger, faster, immune to disease and injuries!
★These will make a potent base for the new curative potion.
★These are great... very potent! Looks like we have a reasonable cure now.
★I can't believe these results. They're phenomenal! I must get more potions from SimTitle0 to prepare for any more sick citizens.
★It seems that a few ailing villagers have come to visit during my absence.
★I was wrong to think the Apothecary was scamming me. Her potions have proven worthy and I'm in dire need.
★Ha! I knew she'd see reason. Never underestimate the persuasive power of a mad doctor.
★I can't trust this Apothecary, especially with the coincidence of her arrival and this sickness... but I can't let these citizens become any sicker. Perhaps I should try her "miracle potion".
★Are you joking? Seems that my prices have just doubled.
★It's as if the disease is rejecting my potions! As much as I hate to admit defeat, perhaps that easterner has a potion that could help?
★My potions will heal any sickness instantly!
★I've never seen a reaction like this to a cure...
★So the potions have arrived. I should try to boost their temporary healing properties with some of my own tonics.
★I'm sure I can convince her to give me a fair price as one medical professional to another.

★Leading a Jacoban congregation is a difficult task, and few have the dedication that it requires. As they say, the Eye of The Watcher does not blink, and serving The Watcher under His constant gaze can be tiring.SimTitle0 was able to make hard decisions and take decisive action when her flock was threatened. Sure, some moral gray areas were explored, but The Watcher can see SimFirstName0's true intentions.Of course even the most devout Jacoban shepherd occasionally needs support, and SimTitle1 performed admirably. Once again, disaster was averted and order maintained in the Jacoban church.

★How should SimTitle0 proceed?
★How should SimTitle0 mix the poison?
★"I will beg my attendant to listen to reason."
★"I know, I'll mix it with the water in my wash basin!"
★"Harsh words are required to convince my attendant."
★"There's another place I could mix it... but it might be too cruel even for the Apothecary."
★Now to keep myself busy while the task is done. A sermon should serve as a suitable alibi.
★I might not be a potions master, but I can create something crude enough for the Watcher's purposes.
★Perfect, a small bottle of poisoned water. Effective enough to disrupt the Apothecary, but not enough to permanently hurt anyone... probably.
★It's possible I have been too harsh with my attendant. I must guide her, help her to see The Watcher's plan.
★Today will be a grand day for the Jacoban Church. I should check in with SimTitle0 and hear the latest news.
★This is a promising day for the church indeed! Let's see if SimTitle0 has today's schedule, so I can see what we have in store for these new prospects.
★Yes... this should work nicely.
★How.. how dare she! Something MUST be done! I... must reflect on this.
★Good news, just as I thought! There are several new prospects asking to join the Jacoban Church. I should speak with each of them.
★Ah, yes, SimTitle0, those converts may have to wait. I've just heard that a woman from the Far East is selling potions over in town square. She claims that they are... well, she says they're "bottled miracles."
★Oh, hi. Thanks for the bribe. Maybe you could find a little more of that coin so I don't have to tell everyone how the Jacoban Church spends its donations.
★Now to throw in the nightshade...
★She means to expose my bribe?! But if everyone knew I tried to pay her off, The Watcher's reputation would be indelibly tarnished! I can't let her disgrace The Watcher like this!
★I know that her true objective is coin. While it would pain me to take funds from the Jacoban church, I could spare a few golds if it convinces her to leave this place.
★If she means to discredit The Watcher, then I have no choice but to discredit her. Switching a few of her potions for a slightly more poisonous blend should change the way the people feel about her. I have much to do.
★I just LOVE the color purple!
★Thank The Watcher, my attendant is listening to reason. Obviously I can't carry out the plan myself, lest The Watcher be implicated if the woman catches us.
★I'll throw the Nightshade in my chamberpot. Oh, how this Easterner will rue crossing The Watcher.
★Hah! SimFirstName0 wonders how poisoning our own prospects will accomplish anything. Obviously The Watcher's plan is not clear to everyone! I need to help her see the big picture here...
★This is... most vile.
★The Apothecary is here? Selling her wares in MY courtyard?! This will not do! It pains me to use the church's funds, but perhaps I can pay this woman off and have her leave the kingdom immediately.
★I certainly know nothing about mixing potions, and I'm afraid the poison will lose its potency if I cook it. Where else could I mix it...
★I'm not great at picking it, but I've collected enough nightshade to give the poison a nice kick. Now where to mix it...
★Surely that woman must have left by now, right? Maybe I should check...
★By The Watcher! She's still here?! I must have words with her immediately.
★Very good. I should probably check up on The Watcher's plan and see how things are proceeding.
★I need to relax after that frustrating encounter. My regular duties always put my mind at ease...
★There, I have a potion. Mixing this with some nightshade and diluting the mixture should create a potion capable of tainting her entire stock.
★A Peteran acolyte stole my man, so I want to join the Jacobans!
★The things she claims are impossible! No human can match the power of The Watcher, and to say so is blasphemous! A good dose of organized faith will set her straight!
★I must deal with this apothecary, but I can't make a scene this close to the Church. Perhaps there is a more discrete way to make her leave.
★I-I understand, I will do as you ask.
★Well, I've just got SO much gold and I need something to donate to!
★The apothecary again! And peddling her heretic drink right here on my doorstep! I cannot abide by this.
★I must help my attendant see the big picture. A few followers will be sick now, but we will prevent the loss of many more followers down the road!
★Why, I take personal offense at that! Offense, madam! I am merely offering the very latest in medicinal breakthroughs. This elixir is pure science, and it should be available to everyone who can afford its moderate price.
★Fantastic, it is a promising day for the Church indeed.
★Wonderful! The people have turned against the heretic and are running her out of town. It is truly a beautiful display of The Watcher's will.
★Hmm, maybe I went a little too far. Still, the people who are still conscious have turned against the heretic and are running her out of town. It is truly a beautiful display of The Watcher's will.
★If she will not see The Watcher's Will, perhaps she will see The Watcher's Wrath.
★What's this?! All of my new prospects have snuck out into the courtyard!
★A quick mix in my wash basin should yield a potent enough mixture.
★My attendant has the task, now I must merely wait for the successful return.
★Wait for Attendant
★There. The attendant has the money and the task. Now, all I must do is simply wait for the Apothecary to leave.
★Everything is in place. I need only to give the poison to my attendant and find myself a suitable alibi.

★Amazing.Once imbued, the chinchilla calmed down immediately. It's as docile as can be now. But what to do next?Perhaps I could release it back into the herd and it could teach the other chinchillas to be at peace as well. Or I can see if SimTitle0 can build me something that would allow me to do this on a larger scale - to imbue the entire herd at once!
★Not a bad stew. Not bad at all.And now, I feel like I could almost talk directly to a chinchilla. I could certainly imbue it with the Peace of The Watcher, in a process that is similar to prayer.

★"Forging a dust box shouldn't prove to be a hard task, and exchanging it for a bit of expensive amplifying dust is a generous offer from the merchant."
★Forge Dust Box
★Well, it's smaller than I imagined, but it has the amplification power necessary to do the job.I should get this over to SimTitle2 as soon as I can.
★"I should collect any ingredients I'm still missing and get to work on the amplifier. With it, SimTitle2 and I can continue towards the goal of calming these rowdy chinchillas."

★Craft Armored Chinchilla
★"Once I've collected all the ingredients, I should brew this stew."
★Cook Chinchili Stew
★Now what?
★Release it to teach the other chinchillas!
★Attempt to imbue Peace of The Watcher on entire herd
★You're a blacksmith, are you not? I'll make you a deal.Instead of simply selling this dust to you for money, I'd prefer a small trade instead. I am expanding my dust business, and I have no real way of organizing it at the moment. If you can forge a proper dust box for me, I shall gladly give you a sample of my amplifying dust in exchange.
★This little chinchilla will be our ambassador of peace, our evangelist of hope.Soon, all the chinchillas in the forest will understand the joy of tranquility that our little friend already  has.
★This box is fine, indeed! As promised, here is your amplifying dust. Use it wisely, for it has great power! And remember, if you have any need in the future for dust, be it magical or plain, I'm your woman!
★My child, it has been a long time since someone has mentioned chinchillas and The Watcher in the same breath to me.There is an ancient armor that was created for chinchillas, back when they were considered the favored pet of The Watcher. Here, take these plans. They will teach you - or someone more skilled in metalworking - how to make the armor again. This armor can then be imbued with a holy rite, if that would serve your purpose.
★I'm not about to pin our hopes on the persuasiveness of a chinchilla. That's almost absurd. Since I know that this imbuement works on a single chinchilla, I am confident that SimTitle0 and I can work together to come up with a way to imbue the whole herd at once.
★Did you see? I see they set upon you like the beasts they are.Was the sword not useless? We hunters need your help. Your best bet may be rigging some device to capture one of these creatures and seeing if we can calm it down. In the meantime, I will take back my sword.
★If you seek an answer to your chinchilla woes, go where the Peteran Armorkeeper goes.Once the sun sets, she rests within The Watcher's gaze, but she rests in the town square during the day.
★SimTitle0 and SimTitle1 looked up at the woman in the doorway of the Smithy. She was obviously a hunter and clearly looking for help. A large scratch ran down her arm. "The chinchillas," she sighed. "They've evolved."SimFirstName0 and SimFirstName1 looked at each other, puzzled. The hunter continued, "I'll return in a bit. I hope you can offer me some help."SimFirstName1 nodded, as she headed back to the Monastery. She would start doing some research while SimFirstName0 waited for the hunter to return.
★It was the strangest thing.I've hunted in the forest before, but these chinchillas have never been a bother. Today, they viciously attacked and when I tried to fight back, it was as if my sword simply bounced off them! You can see for yourself if you want to! Take my sword and go find a chinchilla in the forest, but be careful.
★I believe she was going to be in the town square around this time today, looking to sell some goods.
★SimTitle0? Yes! I've seen her!She said she was off to the docks, in an attempt to sell some dust to a few sailors who were headed out to sea.
★In matters of chinchilla it must be known, that no Peteran is ever alone.Gather the victims by sermon in church, and a solution will appear to end your search.
★"The Watcher has a plan for these creatures."
★"I've always rather liked chinchillas."
★Of course! If I connect this to this...and put in a bit of amplifying dust, this just might do it! But where am I going to get amplifying dust? That mystic merchant who wanders around town may have some, but I haven't seen her in days. I wonder if anyone knows where she is.
★"SimTitle1 will let me use her archives to diagram exactly how I'll be able to construct a device to amplify The Watcher's Peace onto the entire chinchilla herd in the forest."
★Diagram Amplifier Recipe
★"My heart is beating a bit quicker, but I think we've done enough to make sure that releasing this newly armored and blessed chinchilla is a good idea."
★Release Chinchilla in Forest
★With a chinchilla in tow, I should head over to SimTitle1 and see if she has come across anything that could help solve this chinchilla problem.
★"I've got the mystic amplifier and the time has come to attempt to imbue the entire herd. I will head to the forest, and may The Watcher guide my hand."
★Imbue the Herd in Forest
★I managed to secure enough Chillaweed for my recipe. Now to get the rest of the ingredients and make that stew.
★"I need to venture into the forest to collect some Chillaweed, but I will need to be on my guard as chinchillas love to munch on Chillaweed."
★Collect a Chillaweed in Forest
★I managed to capture another one of these creatures.I hope SimTitle1 has a better plan for this one.
★"Here we go again. Back to the forest to get another one of these critters. I hope this next one fares a bit better than the last."
★Trap Another Chinchilla in Forest
★This sermon seems to have attracted a few hunters who surely have suffered at the hands - or rather, teeth - of these wild chinchillas as well.I should pray with a few of them and see if they can help with our dilemma.
★"Writing with The Watcher's help has revealed that giving a sermon to console victims of chinchilla attacks may give us a solution to our current situation."
★Give a Sermon
★"It's time to set this peaceful chinchilla free, and watch it work its wonders on the other members of its herd."
★Release Chinchilla in Forest

★Write Chinchilla Wisdom
★"While SimTitle1 is working on her contraption, I should spend a little time writing with The Watcher to see what wisdom I can gather."
★Write Chinchilla Wisdom
★This chinchilla now has all the protection we can hope to give it: armor from your hammer and a blessing from The Watcher.Take it to the forest, release it, and let us hope that all our preparations have not been for naught.
★"A bit of prayer with SimFirstName1 may be the key to a successful outing in the forest next time."
★Pray with SimTitle1
★While praying with these hunters, inspiration struck! These chinchillas need not be calmed, they need to be healed. Their aggressiveness is not simply beastly anger, but rather a reaction to a deep-seated pain. With SimTitle1's amplifier, a generous helping of The Watcher's Peace will heal all wounds.
★"Praying with a few of the chinchilla hunters that arrived for my sermon may reveal a solution to our current chinchilla crisis."
★Pray with 2 Chinchilla Hunters
★Chinchilla armor? Well, it's worth a try.Time to slap some Mithral, Adamantle, and Cruddium on this chinchilla.
★There may be a way to settle this situation with something other than swords and blood.A little faith, a little careful construction, and who knows what solution we may craft to this chinchilla problem?
★A sword, borrowed from SimTitle0.
★Hunter's Sword
★It had been a few hours later when SimTitle1 walked into the Smithy, a grin plastered across her face."This sword you've crafted - it cuts through chinchillas like they are made of soggy cake! ★While not an abject failure, the Mithral Hammer didn't really manage to do much to the chinchilla. It did make the hammer much lighter and easier to swing, though.
★"Crafting with the Mithral Hammer and the chinchilla will give me a good indication of how effective this metal may be in combat against these creatures."
★Craft Mithral Hammer Test
★The Adamantle Hammer has been crafted. To test it properly, I should take both the hammer and the chinchilla to my forge. The regular crafting process will be a good way to see how these two things interact.
★"An Adamantle Hammer may be just what we need to take these new chinchillas on."
★Craft Adamantle Hammer
★The trap has been constructed! Now it's time to head to the forest and see this little contraption in action.
★"SimTitle2 may have had the right idea. Constructing a chinchilla trap will allow me to bring one of those creatures back to my workshop for a closer look."
★Craft Chinchilla Trap
★I've crafted the Mithral Hammer. Now, to test it.Using both this hammer and the captured chinchilla at my forge should give me some good results.
★"Collecting some Mithral and crafting a hammer with it will give me a good idea of what impact Mithral may have against these evolved chinchillas."
★Craft Mithral Hammer
★I have a good feeling about this. This Adamanthral Hammer feels both light and powerful.Time to take it to the forge with our little chinchilla friend and see what's what.
★"If I make a bit of Adamanthral alloy and use that to make a hammer, it might contain the best properties of both Adamantle and Mithral."
★Craft Adamanthral Hammer
★This Adamantle Hammer can pack a punch, but the metal weighs down the hammer a bit, making it hard to swing. The test did result in a bit of a bruise on the little fella, though.
★"A bit of crafting with this new Adamantle Hammer and this somewhat ornery chinchilla will give me results as to how well Adamantle can pierce his little hide."
★Craft Adamantle Hammer Test
★The sword has been crafted and I should deliver it to the hunter as soon as possible. But first, since I'll be heading out to the forest, I should decide what to do with my little test subject.
★"A sword made of Adamanthral should cut through chinchillas like churned butter."
★Craft Chinchilla's Bane
★Huge success! The hammer delivered a blow that stunned that little chinchilla and made him cower into the corner of his box. He doesn't seem permanently hurt - I didn't hit him that hard, after all - but this alloy is a definite winner.Time to forge an Adamanthral Sword!
★"Let's get this hammer to the forge and test it on the chinchilla. After the so-so results of the other two hammers, I'm eager to see how this one performs."
★Craft Adamanthral Hammer Test
★But what should I do with this captured chinchilla?
★Kill it!
★Release it!
★SimTitle0 looked up from her forge at the stranger who had wandered in. Clearly a hunter, the woman sighed and turned her somewhat resigned eyes toward SimFirstName0.She spoke of hunting, of chinchillas, and of a mysterious inability to pierce their hide.SimTitle0 was perplexed. The chinchillas in the local forest had been hunted for quite some time and had rarely offered much resistance. As SimFirstName0 stood there, thinking, the hunter turned and walked out the door. "I'll be back in a bit," she said. "I hope there's something you can do to help me."
★It was the strangest thing. I've hunted these chinchillas for years, but this time, it was as if my sword simply bounced off them! You can see for yourself if you want to. Take my sword and go find a chinchilla in the forest, but be careful!
★Did you see? I see they set upon you like the beasts they are.Was the sword not useless? We hunters need your help. Your best bet may be rigging some device to capture one of these creatures and taking a closer look at its newly grown hide. In the meantime, I will take back my sword.
★Interesting. Although these two hammers themselves were not terribly useful, I may be able to combine Adamantle and Mithral to form an alloy that is both strong and light. Then, perhaps using that material to make a hammer would finally yield the results I'm looking for.
★"Want a better sword? You've come to the right place."
★It was a bit of a struggle, but I've managed to capture one of the buggers. Now to forge a few hammers and give this little guy a few whacks to see if I can find a metal that can penetrate his gnarly hide.
★"With this trap, I should be able to snare myself a chinchilla."
★Capture Chinchilla in Forest
★"With this borrowed sword, I should take a look at these supposedly evolved chinchillas myself. It's time for a quick trip to the forest."
★Investigate Chinchillas in Forest
★I was almost a little sad to see my little helper scamper away into the bushes, but I think I made the right choice. As if The Watcher agreed, inspiration came to me while in the forest and I have a new sword that I want to try crafting the next time I get back to my forge.
★"After all we've been through, I don't have the heart to just end this little fellow's life.I'll head out to the forest, release him back into the wild, and let the cycle of life play out."
★Release the Chinchilla in Forest
★The deed is done and, what's more, I am certain the sword is quite up to the task of handling these evolved chinchillas.Time to deliver it to SimTitle1.
★"This little beast has caused enough trouble for the kingdom.Time to take him out to the forest and end his reign of terror. Permanently."
★Kill Chinchilla in Forest
★So conventional swords don't seem to be doing it against these chinchillas? There's a simple solution for that: new, better swords.
★A chinchilla was a chinchilla. At least, that's what the common wisdom used to be, before the reports started flooding in of chinchillas that seemed impervious to harm. Hunters were in a bit of a panic, as their weapons seemed to bounce right off of these creatures' hides. What was going on in the forest? What had happened to these chinchillas? Someone would have to find out, no matter the danger...

★How should SimTitle0 solve her problem?
★How should this spineless worm be dealt with?
★A kingdom's defense is only as good as its knight captain. Without a knight that the guards could have confidence in to lead, TownName would surely fall into chaos.
★Yet another scheme against TownName had been thwarted, and the kingdom persevered for another day. None of the guards, veteran or cadet, ever questioned SimTitle0's authority again. Her actions had spoken louder to them than any collection of symbols ever could.
★Primary Hero:"  Knight
★"That's it, no more Mrs. Nice Girl. I'll whip those guards into shape."
★"I'll expose her right here in front of the court!"
★"Guards who refuse their duty are less than useless. I'll protect the kingdom myself."
★"I'll expose this worm in front of all my recruits. A fitting lesson in the values of heraldry."
★If you can't get your guards in line and protect the kingdom, SimTitle0, then you'll need to be removed from your post.
★If the guards won't stand their posts, I'll just cut their pay and perform their duties on my own.
★That's it, I'm going to expose this little rat for all the recruits. We'll see what they think about her "noble family crest" then.
★Bandits here too? This is too many, too quickly, after my recruits have abandoned their posts. Something else is going on here.
★Yes, there is a new diplomat in the kingdom. She hails from... Gelwiry? I've never heard of it myself, but more alliances make TownName stronger.
★The source of this lack of confidence in my ability to lead is certainly a mystery... as is the whereabouts of all my recruits. Where has everyone gotten off to?!
★Well... I guess I overheard one of the new diplomats in the throne room discussing it.
★By The Watcher! No, I never!
★Now I'll expose this dignitary in front of the whole court!
★Still they rebel?  I'm going to need to fill in for them for now -- I can't let TownName go unprotected any longer.
★This is outrageous! A woman is  defined by her actions alone! I don't know how I can protect TownName without my guards doing their jobs... I should warn SimTitle1.
★Time to bring back the ol' fire and show these recruits what a real knight captain sounds like.
★Just as I thought, she's on the move. Now to expose her to the recruits.
★You can't scare us! You could just be some peasant for all we know!
★I heard it from one of the other guards while I was on patrol.
★What's this nonsense, why are these recruits not at their posts?
★Y-yes ma'am!
★What does this noble's family crest mean now, digesting in the beast's stomach? Without the dignitary, the bandits we don't catch will soon disperse. This will be a lesson that these recruits will learn well.
★What's this? Bandits at the gate?! They don't look like the average bandits in this area...I can't handle this on my own, damn those recruits. I should check the last entry into the city, the forest, before returning to the barracks for help.
★SimTitle0 seethed. There had been whispers among the guards, specifically the new recruits, that she wasn't "fit" to be their leader because she didn't have a family crest. "Heraldry means nothing to me," she cried, "A woman is defined by her actions alone, not her family's past. I need to quell this idea of the importance of family crests quickly, before it gets out of hand."
★Simple enough, not much trouble on the docks. Who needs other guards?
★It was just a discussion in the barracks... I can't remember who started it.
★Look at this cur, sweating at the mention of the bandits. I should've known it was some diplomat targetting the safety of our nation by preying on the stupidity of my recruits. We'll see how he reacts when I apply some pressure.
★B-b-bandits? I have n-no idea what you're talking about!
★To be honest, SimFirstName0, I agree with them. I'm refusing to do my duty until this situation is resolved.
★This should be interesting.
★Liar! Now she's trying to escape! She won't get far, I'll see to that. I'll get my recruits and show them how a coward with a "noble family crest" deals with her problems.
★These scrubs are really testing me. I need to find one of my full guards.
★Mysterious bandits AND a mysterious dignitary? That's not just coincidence.
★You're not even fit to lead us! We refuse to do our duty until either you present your family heraldry or we have a new Captain!
★Look at these slackers. How did these worthless peasants even discover my missing past anyway?
★What?! She was lying to try and invade the town with bandits?!
★Look at this spineless worm. Time to crack her with a little pressure.
★There she is! But the Monarch has already given the word. She won't get any farther than this!
★A new diplomat? I haven't heard of a new diplomat. I should investigate with SimTitle0.
★I can't quite remember where I heard it...
★Interesting, the Monarch accepted the dignitary in, though he's not sure where the dignitary hails from. This can't be a coincidence that this dignitary has come, insulted me, incited rebellion against me, and mysterious bandits have appeared in town.
★Look at the dog, running from justice. I'll send two of the recruits to the pit to stop her and one to the Monarch to explain the unfolding events.

★Without a Royal Crest, the Monarch's reign would continue to come under scrutiny. And where did it stop? In these trying times, authority could never be questioned.
★The con man SimFirstName0 had been dealt with. He would never show his face in TownName again. SimTitle1 was already thinking of designs for her Royal Crest. She would show everyone exactly what her authority as Queen of TownName meant. The legacy of SimTitle1 was hers to make.

★There, he seems to be pleased by that. It seems I should watch what I say around him if I ever want to get that crest. Speaking of which, I should ask him if he's ready to give it up.
★Serves him right. I intend to make a new crest, one that represents my own actions.
★You're going to listen to THEM? Over your own FAMILY? I don't know cousin, my memory is getting real hazy about the crest. Perhaps you can make this up to me, and I'll remember a little clearer.
★Now that I'm just getting used to the royal life? Cousin, I'll give you the crest later. Relax!
★Good one, cousin! Come on, let's see the rest of Crafthole's smellier brother: TownName.
★I was saving this for someone who really deserved it...
★SimTitle0 examined the letter. It read:"Dearest Queen SimFirstName0, I've sent this letter to warn you that your message has been intercepted by a notorious mountebank in our parts. If a man comes to town claiming to be your relative, he is tricking you. I'm sorry I cannot meet with you about our family heraldry, but for one simple reason: we have none. The members of our family make their own name, in their own special way, and I'm sure you will do the same.Love,Duchess Beverly"
★Ah, my relative has arrived! I should welcome him.
★Ack! Plugh! Ex... Excellent shot, m'lady...
★I can't wait to see the look on her face! Har!
★Now with my cousin being a guest, I'll let him have the first few throws. Gotta be polite about these things!
★I... don't remember this relative. Odd. But if he received my letter, then he must be related to me, right? I should ask him about the family crest.
★Ugh, hey! What the--?!
★It smells like Crafthole and it's about as exciting as a Peteran sermon. Maybe we can do something to add a little action. Cousin, go spit in the well!
★UH-OH! Didn't see that coming, did ya? Hahahahar! Cousin, let's go throw things at her!
★This is infuriating! Time to broaden my investigation into my... cousin.
★Ah, the town square, the heart of the city! This has always been a favorite place of mine. I wonder if my relative agrees?
★This is degrading...
★I'll make sure everything is in order, m'lady.
★Ugh, for being my cousin you sure are boring. You sure we're related? Come on, let's see the rest of this dump.
★That man? THAT man?! Ugh, don't even get me started...
★Haha! Looks like you got some egg on your face there! Har!
★Odd, I just received a message about that very individual.
★Cousin, you're bringing tears of joy to my eyes. I get the first throw!
★Classic! Now spit in one of these peasant's faces!
★He doesn't have it?! He's assuring me that he knows the crest by heart and will describe it in detail to my advisor to have a new one made. In the meantime, he says he'd like to see some of the kingdom. I suppose that's reasonable...
★Sorry cousin, I don't actually have it! It's all in my memory! Let's talk about all this business later. Come, show me your kingdom!
★Something had been bothering SimTitle0. There was whisper among the foreign dignitaries that her rule was a sham because the Queen had no royal crest to display her family's heritage."I won't allow my reign to be ridiculed by diplomats. I'll need to rectify this immediately," SimFirstName0 said to herself.
★Well, I guess we don't have to get right down to business... this second...
★Just when things get good, you have to be such a buzzkill. Whatever. I'm going to wander around this mega Crafthole by myself.
★There, I've sent off a letter to my relatives... that I know of. Ha!It should only be a matter of time before they come to my aid. I should ask my subjects to prepare for their arrival.
★I must speak with my relative when he gets back about the reactions from these dignitaries.
★Right away, m'lady.
★This place smells worse than the town square! Ugh, what is your servant doing here besides making it smell worse? Oh! Oh, SimFirstName0. SimFirstName0. Send this broad to the stocks. It'll be hilarious!
★BORING. Leave me alone, I can see the rest of this mega-Crafthole by myself.
★Now to mail this off...
★There, he seems to be pleased again. I need to watch my step if I want to ever get that crest. Maybe he's ready to give it to me now.
★Har! That's what I'm talking about. Really hock one!
★But, SimFirstName0, why?!
★Ah, I've always loved the docks. The salty air, the saltier characters! A slice of life, this is. Surely my cousin agrees.
★I fear my cousin has overstayed his welcome. Time to send him on his way!
★Must stay calm... Remember, I need this man to validate my family's history. While he's out wasting more time, I should see if anyone here knows anything about him.
★The ol' one-two punch! Too funny.Hey, let's take a break, cuz. I want to see the rest of your kingdom! I'll meet you back at the castle later.
★Har! I knew you weren't a stick in the mud!
★My relative should be arriving sometime soon, I'm giddy with excitement. It's been so long since I've seen any of my family.
★The decision to end his life is easy. Now the hard part: how to do it?
★Oh, all right. Let's see the rest of Crafthole's smellier brother: TownName.
★The things he said about Crafthole... You can't imagine!!
★Perhaps you can send a pigeon to some of your relatives and have them bring your crest?
